H.E.A.R.T. Martial Arts Founder was honored with the United States President's Volunteer Service Award. Sensei Jim was nominated last year by Citizens Schools for his volunteer efforts with their organization over the last 2 years.

Citizens Schools recently was given the ability by the White House to nominate individuals for their volunteer efforts. It should be noted that not all nonprofit organizations are give this ability. A special thank you should also go to Citizen Schools, after nearly 19 years of service to the nation by way of its work in 7 States it is nice to see the White House recognized their efforts by bestowing upon them this special ability.

Way to go Citizen Schools!
